Acceptable use policy

This policy is part of the Terms of service. It applies to everything you run on Progrid and to everyone who uses your account, including scripts and AI tools acting with your tokens. Breaking it can lead to suspension or termination.

Illegal activity

You may not use the Services for anything that is illegal under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Anti-Cyber Crime Law, the Personal Data Protection Law and the Electronic Transactions Law, or under the laws that apply to you or your users. This includes, without limitation:

• Fraud, phishing, identity theft, money laundering, and the sale of stolen data or credentials.
• Content that is sexually explicit, that exploits or endangers minors in any way, or that promotes terrorism, violence or hatred against any group.
• Gambling services, unlicensed financial services, and the sale of drugs, weapons or counterfeit goods.
• Infringing copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property, including hosting pirated software, media or license keys.
• Defamation, harassment, threats, and the publication of private information about others without consent.

Attacks and abuse of networks

• No unauthorized access to any system, network or data, and no scanning or probing of systems you are not authorized to test.
• No denial of service attacks, and no hosting of tools or services whose purpose is to attack others.
• No malware, botnet command and control, exploit kits or credential stuffing.
• No IP or email spoofing, no open relays, open proxies or open resolvers left exposed to the internet.

Spam and unsolicited messages

No bulk unsolicited email, SMS or messaging, no harvesting of addresses, and no hosting of content advertised through spam. Mailing lists must be opt in with a working unsubscribe. Port 25 is closed by default; ask support to open it for legitimate mail servers with reverse DNS and SPF in place.

Abuse of the platform

• No cryptocurrency mining and no proof of work computation on shared plans.
• No attempts to bypass metering, spending caps, quotas or approval rules, and no use of another customer's resources.
• No resale of the Services as your own hosting without a written agreement with us.
• No activity that degrades the platform for others, such as sustained saturation of shared network or storage, unless you have a dedicated plan for it.

Content you host for others

If your users can upload or publish content, you are responsible for enforcing this policy on them, for responding to abuse reports, and for taking down illegal content when notified.

Reports and enforcement

Report abuse to support@progrid.sa with addresses, timestamps and logs. We investigate every report. Where there is an immediate risk to others, to the platform or a legal order, we may suspend the resource first and notify you afterwards. In other cases we notify you and give you a reasonable time to fix the problem. Repeated or serious breaches end the agreement.

We cooperate with competent Saudi authorities as required by law, and we notify you of requests concerning your account unless the law prevents it.
