Terms of service
The agreement between you and Progrid Arabia for every Progrid service, including subscriptions and billing.
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Progrid Arabia (بروجريد العربية), a company established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("Progrid", "we"). They apply to the console, the API, the command line tools, the SDKs and every service you create through them (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services you accept these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the Service Level Agreement, which together form the agreement.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, or act for a company that has authorized you. You are responsible for everything done under your account and its API tokens, including by AI tools and scripts you give a token to. Keep your credentials secret, turn on two step sign in, and tell us at once at support@progrid.sa if you think an account was compromised. Team owners are responsible for the people and tokens they invite.
We may ask for identity or business verification before enabling some features, and we may refuse or close an account that fails verification.
2. The Services
Progrid provides infrastructure: servers, storage, networking, managed databases, Kubernetes, an application platform and related tools. You control what runs on them. We do not access the contents of your servers, volumes or buckets except as needed to operate the Services, to respond to a support request you made, or as required by law.
Features marked as beta or preview may change or be withdrawn without notice. We may change or discontinue any Service with at least 30 days' notice, or without notice where required for security or by law.
3. Subscriptions, pricing and billing
Prices. Prices are published in Saudi riyals, excluding value added tax, at progrid.sa/#pricing and through the pricing API. Dollar prices are the riyal prices converted at the published rate. VAT at the statutory rate (currently 15 percent) is added for customers in Saudi Arabia and shown before you confirm a purchase.
Hourly metering with a monthly cap. Every resource is metered for each hour it exists and charged at one 672nd of its monthly price per hour, so a resource that exists for the whole month never costs more than its monthly price. Stopping a server does not stop the meter; deleting it does. Managed plans, support plans and add ons are metered the same way unless their page says otherwise.
Credit and invoices. Usage is drawn from prepaid credit first. On the first day of each month we issue a ZATCA compliant e-invoice for the previous month's usage that was not covered by credit. Invoices are due within 14 days. We may suspend Services on an account with an overdue invoice after notice, and delete resources 30 days after suspension.
Spending controls. Limits you set on projects and API tokens are enforced by the platform. They protect you against runaway automation; they do not cap what you owe for resources that already exist.
Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email and on the pricing page. Running hours are charged at the price in force during that hour.
Payment methods. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We never store full card numbers. A failed payment may lead to suspension after notice.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can delete any resource at any hour and close your account at any time from the console. Charges stop when the resource is deleted. Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Your content and data
You own what you store on the Services. You grant us only the rights needed to store, transmit and display it as part of operating the Services. You are responsible for backing up your data; the Services offer snapshots and backups, and you decide whether to use them. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Where you process personal data of others on the Services, you are the controller and we act on your instructions as a processor.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Services for anything unlawful under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the laws that apply to you, or for anything listed in the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or remove resources that breach it, immediately where there is a risk to others, and otherwise after notice.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for a material breach of the agreement, for non payment, when required by law or a competent authority, or if your use threatens the security or stability of the platform. You may terminate at any time by closing your account. After termination we delete your resources; keep your own copies of anything you need. Sections 5, 8, 9 and 10 survive termination.
8. Warranties and liability
The Services are provided as described in the documentation and the SLA. Except as stated there, they are provided without warranties of any kind. Progrid is not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, loss of profit, loss of data you chose not to back up, or damage caused by content or software you run. Our total liability for any claim in a contract year is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify Progrid against claims arising from your content, your use of the Services in breach of the agreement, or your breach of law, including reasonable legal costs.
10. General
Governing law. The agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes are subject to the competent courts in Riyadh, after a good faith attempt to resolve them with us first.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect; continued use after that date is acceptance.
Notices. Notices to you go to the email address of the account owner. Notices to us go to support@progrid.sa.
Entire agreement. These documents are the entire agreement between you and Progrid regarding the Services and replace earlier agreements. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
